Human Dispersals in the Late Pleistocene Conference; Jena, Germany

Tom and Katerina were invited to give presentations at the "Human Dispersals in the Late Pleistocene - Interdisciplinary Approaches Towards Understanding the Worldwide Expansion of Homo sapiens" conference in Jena, Germany. The conference was organised by Prof Michael Petraglia, formerly of Oxford but now at the new Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History.

Tom talked about "Identifying human fossil remains from Pleistocene Eurasia using collagen fingerprinting". Katerina's talk was entitled "Dating human dispersals and extinctions across Eurasia using advanced chronometric approaches".

The conference was excellent and characterised by open discussion and presentation of new results and data.
